On the note for whittling and carving the 88 has a lambsfoot good for roughing) and California/Turkish clip (good for detail work). I use my 88 for whittling all the time. The 88 is a gem and super comfortable in the hand due to the curve of the handle. I am an experienced whittler/carver 1095 is great with cottonwood bark and basswood the two most popular woods for carving/whittling.How is the centering on the 88? Any thoughts on its usefulness for whittling and carving?
