I don't know how it happened, but the Metro *was* noticeably less sharp when i tested it in the OP, i tried stropping it, helped *slightly*, i finally touched it up on the Sharpmaker to bring it back....
i then tossed it into my "junk knife" bin and replaced it with a Wenger Esquire, a *much* better knife
someone'll probably end up inheriting the Metro once i get truly sick of it
