Yep, Victorinox acquired Wenger a couple years ago. This "super tool" was released before the acquisition though, IIRC.

The first time I saw one of these things, I just assumed that it was meant as a dealer display piece. Something that customers could stop by and play with and see each tool and decide what they needed in a knife based on seeing it all.

I wonder if you'd have to spend anywhere close to the $1200 price tag to buy all the tools included in that "knife" in individual models.

Honestly, when I first saw a picture of the beast I was certain it was a PS job. But no, the thing actually exists!
Except for displaying it as "something unusual" in your collection or maybe as a boat anchor, is there any practical use for it?

Think of the fun you could now have with the metal detectors @ the airports . . .

Very easitly because it has:

•Ergonomic handles for easier gripping and control

Thank goodness, because without those it would be really hard to use.

Those are great, I carry mine all the time, comes in handy at least twice a day. I even had a custom kydex backpack molded for it, it was easy to tote on the keyring before, but with the kydex, you never even know its there until you need it.

Makes a great whittlin' knife also:thumbup:, I am thinking about picking up a spare for the glove box.
