This is a really bad picture, but it looks good in real life. The FMV8 is Desert Bronze with Maroon Canvas.

That looks really nice! Now I am questioning if I want to stick with black/green g10 and muddy brown or switch to the maroon and bronze.

Edit: just got off the phone with the shop and changed the order for Gemini Assault ULB with knuckles to Maroon magnum slabs with Desert Bronze!

These look really cool. And I haven't tried Bronze coating yet. I already love Maroon so its a done deal.

I missed out on the OG Argonne Assault and have been kicking myself for it since. I have one of these on order and was mighty tempted to get two, but I will hold out to see what kind of CS one-offs pop up later. What a great knife!
 
Man, I really want one of these but it looks like another model where the tang will not be ground flush with the scales. If that’s the case, I’ll pass. If I’m wrong, I’d definitely be all over these. I find it very uncomfortable in use and cheap looking. Maybe I’ll wait until the pics come out and lose the discount.

Could take it to anyone with a belt grinder to make a flat spot on the pummel. Knuckle guard busse are pretty rare.

I usually don’t reply to trolling posts but not really a loss. If I wouldn’t be happy with it, it’s not a loss at all. I bought a f16 a while back only to find how much I disliked the rounded tang that was very uncomfortable in use. Only to sell it for a loss. Now if I repeated the same mistake, that is a loss two times. If it doesn’t bother you, or. Anyone else who buys it, I’m happy for you. Just a feature I really don’t want on a knife.
