what's the status on the gemini project? are they out for sale yet? does anyone own a piece? what's the price of it?

it sure looks nice... :)
 
Funny you ask that.

I just emailed the edge equipment.

Starting price is $449. All the numbered pieces are sold and after the limited amount of non-numbered pieces is made, it will be discontinued.

guess i should try to get a hold of one, then, before it's too late! ;) do you know how many limited non-numbered pieces there is?

There may be about 25 of the unnumbered models but I'm not sure. Chuck would know for sure. However, I believe that those too have all been called for.
 
And if you can't get a Gemini, Darryl Ralph, the custom knife maker for the project, will be making custom bali's to order once he has completed his obligation to the Gemini project.
 
I figured I need one "Pimp" Balisong :cool: ...so Darrel is making me of those really fancy ones...all damascus with the inlayed Goldlip and all that. I did pick up a "Proto" when they were available.., but I'm not sure if there are anymore out there now. Chuck will know, but I haven't kept track since I got mine.

Only the one prototype was sold. No Gemini are available right now. Maybe somebody will drop out before it's all over. But, they'll loose their 50% deposit if they do, so that may not happen. Anyway, I'm trying to get some more current status and I'll post what I find.

BTW, I suspect that mine will be among the last done. So, I'm waitin' with the rest of ya'

does anyone have a clue on what price mr. ralph will take for a custom job? with out any special inserts and stuff, i mean...
