so that makes this thread a sales promo? i thought it was a look I like knives and uncle gave me a bunch to enjoy thread. guess I was wrong, so be it. this thread is ruined for me as a promo to sell off. good luck on your future selling thread.......

Well, some will be sold, and some kept. I didnt really mean for it to be a sales promo. I just didn't fully understand what I had, so I thought i'd post it.
 
Very nice uncle, and being good with you doing as you please with them is even better! I don’t see a same promo, just a mention of your future thoughts on what to do. Seems to me some people on this site are extremely uptight and should learn not everything is a major issue.

Great haul bud and enjoy them knives. Some of those fixed blades are very sweet! I’ve git to get me a good fixed blade:(
 
Thanks for posting your Major Score. You should take time and figure out what you have by doing research here on the BF but if you have no interest in doing that you could pick out your faves and I will take the rest off your hands for $200 bucks. Those other guys were low balling you;)

Still an ok thread. Why would I be upset that he might sell some or all of that collection. Still fun to see them, and wish any uncle of mine liked me enough to give me $1,000's worth of knives in one swoop!!!
He has the paying membership to sell, and is not listing prices here. I'd be pretty stoked to be able to have pick of all those folders and fixed blades.

Sounds like you have gotten some ideas on value. The GEC are usually $100 + some of those unused will be $200 plus depending on model, and handle material.

The S&M are Queen made, and are more in the $70-90.... some up higher If unused, and no gaps, and tight).

The big folding Case hunters could fetch higher money depending on year, and condition etc.

I don't know the values of the fixed blades much.

maybe it didnt start that way, but its kinda become one. see the responses here of let me know if you want to sell this one and whatnot.

I liked it better before all the sales talking began. if it's a partial sales promo thread now, is what it is. if no rules are broken no big deal I just dont care for it as that. the sales part spun from look what was given to me...just ruined the thread for me. so be it.

Those are nice knives. I recently inherited half of my father’s collection (he always called it his “accumulation”) and haven’t been ready to sell any just yet, but hopefully soon. Your uncle is fortunate to have a nephew who appreciates such things, very few people do.
