this is a Multicam Gen 1 Mk 3 --"3/4 handle" IGH...; at 23 ounces and 23 inches, this hawk has (IMHO) perfect 1:1 aspects, because of its ounce-per-inch balance.

if you don't know what i am talking about - don't worry, you are not alone! har! - but take my word for it - i think this hawk is PERFECT.

shown here, with two of my favorite possessions - a pair of Cold Steel 12" and 18" Bowie Machetes.

the Handpicked Cold Steel Trail Hawk head is painted with an industrial enamel base coat, then the pattern is added, ...and in addition,

this Gen 1 Mk 3 Hawk features an additional new experimental Matte Clear Coat Protective Finish on the head.

Cowled Steel Ring in the butt allows lanyard or tie-down attachment, while conserving useful handle length!

This one is particularly nice. The new Gen 1 Mk 3 handles are amazing. Money spent on a VecHawk is money well spent. Plus, the discounts are fantastic on your next hawks (and there will be more).
