Selling the three hawks on the left. - the Faux Cherry Wood Heirloom Modified Moosetrax Forge hawk, and the hatchet on the right, I haven't decided to part with just yet.

$225 + tax (in California) + shipping, each.

- plus an additional $50 credit for Previous Investors That's $175 + tax and shipping.

...or $25 credit as a Thank You! to our Public Servants and Military who have not purchased from us before. That's $200 + tax and shipping.

These are Materials Hawks IGHs. (Instant Gratification Hawks) - They were some of the Proof of Concepts for the new Gen 1 Mk 4 Composite handle design.

They all feature the basic Gen 1 Mk 4 Handle, with our hybrid composites/formed micarta exo/endoskeletal handle, which has a polycarbonate sub-structure running through the length of the handles, with a 1/2 inch internal diameter, plugged with a removable airtight plug. - You can fit all your goodies inside this hawk.

All three hawks also feature our new Snake Belly Strike Plate, which is glassy and smooth, while the Snake Skin finish around the rest of the hawk is rough enough for superior grip, but has no hot spots for just a lovely hold and feel for a variety of hand sizes.

Left-to-Right; "Mamba" (solid black), "Black Stadia" (Stadia Lines on Strike Plate), "Commanche" (in bad-muthah brown).

the heads are topped with our Epoxy Vapor Coat for increased durability to the finish, but our Gen 1 Mk 4 hawks are made to be easily repairable and even re-configurable.

These three hawks must be held to be believed, perfectly balanced and weighed to within grams of what we consider the Perfect Hawk Weight Ratio to be: ONE OUNCE PER INCH OF LENGTH.

- Most modern tomahawks that we have seen are much heavier than that. - that ain't a hawk IMHO. That's a Belt Axe or hatchet.

..........

The Commanche (brown): 24.25 inches / 25 ounces. (- as shown, with Paracord protective wraps and lanyard/tie-down loops.) $225

Black Stadia (black, with Stadia Line): 24 inches / 25 ounces. (- as shown, with Paracord protective wraps and lanyard/tie-down loops.) $225

The Mamba (solid black): 23.25 inches / 24 ounces. (- as shown, with Paracord protective wraps and lanyard/tie-down loops.) $225

you will not find a hawk of similar weight combined with strength and utility (that we know of).

The heads are Cold Steel Trail Hawks made of 1055 steel - we inspect them and align the bits and absolutely love them for a great Survivor's Tool that you can trust.

An exceptional tool. An exceptional weapon. All wrapped in one.

All our work is covered by our Lifetime Unconditional Warranty we call the Happiness Guarantee.

We don't want you to just use your hawk, we want you to LOVE IT.

Nuff said, i reckon.

When you are ready, kindly contact my Erica at:

I will be in the Hawk Dungeon knocking out the Customs Orders meanwhile.

Thanks for your consideration.

The mamba is here and had a little swinging fun with me, as fortune has delivered cutting material in the form of large pieces of tree that have broken off in storm winds over the last couple of days.

I really am impressed. I've been wanting to try one of these for awhile, but admittedly had doubts about both the length of the handles and what the balance would be like. Basically -- and admittedly this is based on only about an hour of creating wood chips -- I think the balance and control-ability these handles provide is a significant improvement on the traditional tapered wood handle. I messed around with a few of these very same hawk heads from Cold Steel a few years back (also my favorite pattern from them) and have some experience accumulated with them. The only advantage I'll give to the tapered design is that it is, for me at least, much easier to throw. That said, I'm really a whole lot more interested in utility than target practice, and so far I'm very impressed.

Many thanks and I very much hope to deal again,
Warren

thanks, brother.

the earlier Gen 1's Mk 1, 2, & 3's had some initial advantages for throwing because of the deeper cross-section, but i think you will find this one is fine after you try it out a little bit.

the advantages of this new design, the Gen 1 Mk 4 composite handle, outweigh the disadvantages, hence it is what it is.

enjoy, and thanks for the input, brother.
