Up for sale is a custom folder made by Gene Baskett. This beautiful lockback has a 2 3/4" blade, made from 440C steel. The handles are cocobolo pistol grips, which came off of an old Colt 1911. Also, the knife has blue anodized titanium liners. The most distinguishing feature of this knife, however, is the intricate filework on the liners, blade, and backstrap. There is also filework on the thumb stud. As for condition, this knife has been in a case ever since I bought it from Gene at a knife show a few years ago. So, it has never been used, carried, or sharpened. The knife comes with a black vinyl zip case, and has a leather lanyard on the end of the backstrap.
