Hello folks, Just got my long-anticipated knife from Gene, only to find that the grip is too small (not thick enough) for me. This is entirely my fault, not his, as I was very specific about what I wanted, but failed to address the grip thickness (my hands are very large). The workmanship is beautiful. A little bigger than most of his blades, I intended this as an all-around camp knife- cutting meat, bread, and melons, cutting rope and whittling fuzz sticks, dressing and skinning bear and deer (a little big for skinning but I take apart the hip joint rather than split the pelvis, so I like a longer blade).
The knife is S30V, 4-3/4" blade, 9-5/16" overall, bone handle, lanyard and sheath included, of course. Will ship it for the same $200 I paid for it, and no wait. Prefer MO, bank check, or Paypal. Attached, I hope, are two pictures.
