I have many of his knives and I'll be letting a few go that remain unused. Here is a new/unused trapper with gorgeous mother of Pearl scales. The Pearl is very vibrant/colorful/dimensional. Just under 3.5" closed. 2 7/8" clip & spay blades. No half stops (rare for Gene). Seamless backspaces. Dead center. Fit & finish is as good as it gets. I am the original owner and bought this trapper directly from Gene at a NY show in 1999. Properly stored. You won't be disappointed.
Gene's blade pull is stronger than most. If you ever shook hands with him, you'd know why. I've found that his blades typicallyloosen up with use.
