Custom Handmade Gene Wiseman slip joint style folding knife.
Model name is SHADOW "BackPocket" for the larger size he offers.
1/8" thick blade stock and back spacer, both made of D2 steel.
No liner "UltraLight" variation. Polished smooth blue G10 mill relieved scales. Stainless pins and lanyard hole.
HUGE well made "slippie", at 8 1/4" open overall, with a 3 1/2" blade. Realized it's too big for my tastes.
Selling it because I have a smaller "Front Pocket" model that I use a lot more, so this should go to someone who will use/enjoy it.
I bought this from Gene on here a couple of years ago. They went for $200 last time I saw one offered new from him.
Carried it just a few times and light paper cutting. Never sharpened. Mostly just open/closed/admired it.
Still has same strong snap as the day I got it. Great "walk and talk" and even has a half step.
When I received it, I noticed just a hair of side to side movement when open, and some tiny spots around Wiseman stamp. SEE PICS
Not an issue, but I believe in full disclosure.
Other than this, it looks never used. I believe it's still in Excellent condition.
