General announcement: This year's platens are ready

We usually do a run of platens over the summer but we were swamped this year and didn't get it done until now.

We have a bunch of regular flat platens in abrasion resistant D2, some 48" radius platens in A2, and a few special extra long D2 end radius flat platens for lengthwise grinding. These are new. They're 10" long and are used with the top wheel removed. We also have our water cooled chillers. This stuff is over in the knifemakers for sale area if you're interested. This will be the only sale like this until next year so if you've been waiting to get a new hardened platen, this is it. :thumbup:

No, I'm sorry, KMG only.

Any one running these on a wilmont grinder? I have an lb1000, and all the tooling is the same size as the KMG. I've already placed my order, can always get a kmg platen if I need too.

I was able to drill and tap my Esteem grinder platen mounts for one of Nathans platens. Nothing but good things to say about them. I love mine.
