I've really been impressed with Karrimor, but don't have any firsthand experience with them. If I were in the market for another large pack I'd go with the Kelty military line or the Granite Gear military line.

impossible to stow gear when it's on. Noisy, insecure, can't see out the rear window after awhile.
Taking the top OFF? what a pain in the arse. where do you put the windows? noise, sun on my head, behind my glasses (glare), blowing my hair in my face... blech. don't like convertibles.

The doors come off! Neat, but where do you store them? Another pain. And then rushing to install doors when the rain starts? fergetabboutit. Gotta have an indoor garage for that outdoor vehicle. silly.

Beeridashi May go into production in May, else August. Looks like I'll be traveling a lot the first half of the summer.

It is sweet looking. Weighs 7 1/2lbs. 1000D on a 100 liter pack, go figure.

Depends... If he codes and they call it, then no. However if he codes and they bring him back, I would have had to wait for a replacement to get there for me.

He didn't code, thankfully. I'm so sick of watching people die. 3 in the last 2 weeks. It's really annoying and kind of ruins my day.

Otodus auriculatus from the eocene. Next in the evolutionary family tree would be Otodus angustidens. The line ends in the late miocene with Otodus megalodon, which most of you will know from television or the like. That evolutionary line became extinct with megalodon.
 
Awesome tooth man! I got a couple of your teeth in all my little bags and tins now, love how they strike the ferro rods and look awesome doing it... plus i always liked sharks so its pretty cool.

It's always fun to review the chat that occurs after I go to bed. (that's about 9pm for those of us with one-year olds) Keeping the stated format alive after dark, I see. :D
