The weather here is great! finally! the sun is shinning bright and its about 55 degrees! walked to the post office to mail some bills and pay for some knives and took my son who is 4 years old. About a 3 mile walk and then some light jogging.. We both were sweating when it was over and now he is taking a nap :) what a great start to a month. Besides the fact i spent over 1400 bucks at the post office this morning.....
 
It's a solid 32 degrees here. Last day of break for me and I found out I have to do a bunch of crap outside. Fun fun fun...
 
Nothing wrong with doing crap outside :) Yard work is a blessing, it means you have a yard! :)

I wish i still needed to cut grass and pull some weeds here and there. id be grateful to cut MY OWN GRASS... just 2... maybe 3 years and my land will be paid off in florida and i will have plenty yard work to do ... cant wait.
 
Great weekend! Threw a surprise 30th birthday bash for a friend...it involved lots of shooting and tannerite.

I call this "what ammo shortage"...it might be half of what we used that day.

Should of got some pics or vids of the tannerite targets. had a friend in texas that loved those things and incendiary rounds :eek: lots of fun... he had loads of fully auto rifles and big boy 50 cal sniper rifles and stuff.... I miss him.... I miss his guns anyway lmao. He had a class 3 license and sold firearms, plus a few hundred acres. I could spend a week lost at his house and be happy.

Here's the one video I got of the tannerite. I need to make it a little more interesting next time...like putting it inside of a stuffed animal..or political figure doll... They do blow the bottom apart on a 5G bucket, though.

Awesome. fun stuff for sure, and a lot of things you can do with it. Just make sure there isnt any metal around and dont use a glass container or your gunna get shrapnel thrown at you... learned that the hard way... well i knew it would blow the glass, just didnt think it would send it flying so far.

And I can think of a few political figure dolls for you to use :)
 
One time we got some exploding targets from tractor supply, only one went off like it was supposed to. One never went off at all and it tipped over on the ground and spilled everywhere, the other one took like 4 shots to get it to partially blow. Gallon milk jugs filled with food dye and water is a better deal and just as fun :)

It only took me one shot on the two I hit with my Weatherby Vanguard. ;) However, the flame you got is impressive. I want to do more closer to dusk...what did you have in there that ignited like that?
 
Cold, what rounds were you using? Im not sure why but we had issues getting them to explode when shooting Aks but had no issues with other rifles.....
 
The more i read that, the more stupid i think it seems lmao... maybe we were retarded... but we hit the damn things just as good but for some reason they didnt detonate like they should of...

I totally am right there with you! I'm excited to see what they bring. I like the one Daizee posted (of course, I am waiting on one from him so that might explain something) and the one KFU posted. It is eerily reminiscent of a TMHunt knife. I think the ELO knife is cool looking, but I don't think it would be a good bushcraft-y knife.

.223 PMC Bronze and .270 Winchester white box.
