General Discussion

Cant see pic.

From your description, it might be a German paratroopers gravity knife.

Be aware, that some jurisdictions label these as illegal.

Ze Germans didnt have 'Commandos' - that was the other side:D

Well it's obviously some kind of dagger with leather leg strap sheath, but it's in it's sheath and I can't see the blade.

These links should be available now, but to answer your question, it looks exactly like a 12.5 Inch push knife with a round knife handle and a slightly sleeker blade taper.

No it's not a Boker and I do realize that daggers and push knives are not the same thing that's why I said it's like a push knife in that it has about a half an inch of exposed tang at the hilt, which is a popular feature of a lot of push knives currently on the market. It's also similar to popular push knifes in that the blade is very wide at the hilt. Obviously it tapers down at a less steep angle than a push knife would, because it's a longer blade, that said, the general shape is similar to popular push knives. In addition, to answer another post, I realize "Commando" was the other side. These descriptors are not mine they are how this blade is being presented to me. Also, if you are unable to access the pics thru the Google Drive links, please give me a little bit as I'm going to attempt to directly upload them to the site from a PC, something that doesn't seem to be possible thru the mobile app.
Thanks

You lost me a little on the description but sure, I/we are in a holding pattern for pics.

You may want to try imgur - it'll take you all of five minutes to set up an account AND post a pic here.

Its so easy, a demented Bonobo on Absinthe could make it work:D

I have seen the pictures no clue myself what it is and it is definitely not what BladeScout BladeScout linked and not a German Paratrooper gravity knife as it is a fixed blade w/ sheath.

Not saying you should start another thread , but I think I have seen that blade in the gallery under tactical fixed blades. What you should do is have a Mod moves this to Knife collecting and ID .

Okay, so no need to track down a crazy pygmy chimp wasted on green fairy juice, as some kind soul has already posted the actual images! In the future, however, I'll make sure I have a bottle of the "wormwood wonder" and the number of our zoo already on my desk before I attempt to post pics from my phone directly to the site.
In any event, there you have it. Sorry if my description wasn't as accurate as I'd hoped, as I was driving at the time and couldn't view the pics as I voice typed that particular post. However, any help you could offer me, would be greatly appreciated. Although I wouldn't say "Theater Made" I am beginning to believe that this may be a homemade item, however the individual that owns this, says that he has several that are exactly the same. That for sure, makes me scratch my head.
Thanks again!!!

I see the pic, Armadew posted. No clue as to what it is but is doesnt look like a German paratrooper/ 'commando' dagger to me.

It looks like a double edged Renaissance or Medieval dagger. Probably for reenactment festivals. Google my description and check it out.
