General Forum

I spent a day or two lurking around the other forums in my spare time after my family sent me a pretty nice Benchmade 5000BK presidio for the holidays. They just can't get me all warm and fuzzy like this one can. I've only owned a Busse for a short while, but I take a lot of pride in the thing. You can talk about bargains and cost-effectiveness all day long, but in the end all you've payed for is a feeling. If the feeling that replaced your cash brings a smile to your face, be it because of rarity, form, sentimental value, price, resilience, or anything else, then you've essentially made the right choice.

Being the baddest bitch on the block is just an added bonus.


That being said, the main reason I started to post before all that gibberish spewed out: WHERE ARE MORE BUSSE VIDEOS???

not sure if you are aware of this but there are two separate threads in another part of the forum on the same topic. The level of 'logic' flying around on these threads on this topic is staggering.

Just a pat on the back to you Cobalt. Well said and good responses.:thumbup: If a Busse cost $2.00 or if it cost $3000.00, if it was one I wanted and I could afford it, I would get it and use it. I use a Superknife for godsake, on up to testing swords when I was involved in the SCA. I've used most major brands, but I'm a fanboy of Jerrys blades. So that's what I'll use. Anyhow, I really need to get someone to photo/record when I'm using my knives, it would shutdown any doubters, and possibly add to the cult of Busseites better than a foil hat.:D

I don't mind people putting out their opinion, but uninformed opinions bother me. Anyway, maybe I should have left well enough alone, as we don' need any more competition in getting our fill. Getting these knives is hard with the people we currently have on board.

LOL I have been tempted to tell all that they "SUCK", "DON'T BUY BUSSE" (;)), LOL, 'cause I WANT MORE, and YES, the copetition is rather fierce at times. LOL, "New customers? We don't need no stinkin' new customers." :D Heh-heh-heh :thumbup: :thumbup:

Well, I posted my piece, and had some leftovers that I decided would be better received over here.

Every argument I've ever seen brought against Busse or Strider knives has been brought by a person who was deeply threatened and intimidated to the point of outrage by the knife's capacity to perform. Because they do not experience, or cannot imagine experiencing a situation in which a knife has to do more than cut, they call such tools monsterous and despicable.

This is exactly the same weak mentality of those utterly protected and dependent people who despise military personnel. They aren't nearly as concerned about the wickedness of warfare as they are about the knowledge that they can never stand as strong that person.

They hate themselves, and project that hate on as many people as possible.

you're probably right.
He might just be bitter over getting rid of his INFI early on. Bill Siegle got an SHBM from him. So he obviously had stuff, but must never have used it. Now he has to justify not being able to get it by slaming it.

You know we should be supporting him so that there are no new customers:D
less competition. Imagine if someone put it out in the wilderness forum or the general forum that Swap Rat is selling Tomahawks made of S-7 steel. They would all be gone in seconds.
