General Use Fixed?

Hello All:

Now that I've got the folders, I have an itch for a fixed blade. Looking for a good general use piece - mid-size - Camp knife to whittler to (improbable) self defense. Probably no need for a tanto tip. Leaning towards a MT right now. Anybody have other suggestions/preferences? Your feedback is always appreciated.

I think you are right on the money with the MT. I think it is the best blend of many uses in the Strider line. You may want to also consider a MT-10 which is a inch shorter overall and a very good all around knife. For more of a camp knife the MH is great as well. Enjoy as you can't really go wrong.........Kurt

If your mostly going to use the knife for camping take a look at the HT. It has all the benifits of a fixed blade in a compact model. This knife would meet all your camping needs and be less of a burden to carry around the camp site. Take a look.
