The Benchmade Shoki is a nice little gentleman's folder. The CRK Mnandi would fit the role perfectly as well.

SpartanSaint, this is a little off-topic, but does that cigar happen to be an Ashton?

I'm not sure if you can find these anymore. I bought the knife around 2004 in an Amish Hardware Store, packaging and all.

A gentleman's knife is a pretty knife... for a man.

If it has carbon fiber on it then it is not a gentleman's knife.

Spyderco has disco'd the VG10/CF Kiwi, but you may be able to find one on the exchange or ebay.

If you can find one, I recommend the Lone Wolf Paul series of knives.

My wife bought me a Paul Presto a couple of years ago for Father's Day.

Delightful, elegant, exotic, sharp, handy. Blade is about 2.5 inches.

Mine is like this, only the wood is darker.

The Paul Executive is similar.

As gent's knives go, these are certainly worthy candidates.

Great Eastern's Conductor pattern, in a variety of handle materials, or a Spyderco Lum Chinese carbon fiber.

You didn't mention a price range - so I will suggest the Mnandi by Chris Reeve.

what is a gentleman knife one that u can carry in a suit??

Look for something that's slender and will ride well in the pants pocket without being conspicuous, and a natural or 'classy' handle material.

Consider these questions to better define your search: Are you looking for something traditional or modern? What price range? Favorite handle material - wood, pearl, metal, bone, etc.? How many, and what kind, of blades?

Some examples:
This is from Maserin, made in Italy. Very modern and elegant.

Here is a vintage Bruckmann knife, made in Germany:

And here's a recent topic with pictures of the high-quality Gerber Silver Knight knives that were made in Japan:

I like to carry either my BM 530 or my Spyderco Centofante 3. Both are slim, light weight and hide in my clothing.

generally i like them thin and light...which for me is something in a SAK or an appropriate Kershaw model...
