Here is one I just completed. It Has India Samber stag with sterling silver ferrule, and butt plate. Guard is nickel silver. My Damascus of Aldo Bruno's fine grain 1084 and 15n20 with a blade that measures 6 inches and overall is 11 1/4 inches. Is 1/4 thick at guard and taper to tip. sheath included. Thanks Shane. It will balance with one finger holding it on the ferrule. This was a fun one to build.
 
Didnt he have a Bowie that was made by Tiffany's? This one would have looked good on his side.
 
Indeed it would. If Teddy had a Bowie from Tiffany's it was a gift from an admirer. He would have bought a knife at Abercrombie and Fitch They outfitted his African trip and the ill fated trip to the Amazon.
It seems he did but you will note he was a young man then still not quite full of the "western ways".

The line about the white rhino is simply not true. The Black rhino is more endangered of the two and neither was endangered in 1906.
