OAL: 6"
Blade: 2-3/4" (from wrap to tip) x 1" at the widest point
Grind: Full double flat - super fine Scotchbrite and buffed
Hardening: Mono hardened to RcH ~60
Handle: Black cotton maki (epoxy impregnated) over black sting ray and lizard menuki
Sheath: 5-6 oz. hand stitched and tooled leather sheath

It looks like you might be going just a tiny bit too deep with your grinds and taking away from the thickness in the spine. Other than that it looks great!

Does the blade flex fairly easily ?
Is it intended to be used to shave one's beard ?

The spine is thicker than it appears and there is almost no flex in it.

It will shave, but because it's a double flat grind and has a wrapped handle I wouldn't use it for shaving - I have been asked to make them for shaving and I use a wood handle (more waterproof than wrap) and a hollow chisel grind (sharper, but less practical).

I intended this one as a utility blade that looks good on your desk or bench.
