except with square brackets: [] instead of angle-brackets {} around the IMG tags. you can also just click on the IMG button in the vB code section and input the http location.

The pic isn't showing up for me. As far as I know Geocities doesn't allow posting the pic outside of there site. Thanks for the help though.

It worked for a while when I first put it on....I see that it's not now. In the deep recesses of my memory I vaguely remember someone telling me that there's a trick to posting pix from sites which don't allow posting outside - but I can't recall it :(

I hacked together a box which will hopefully see the katar safely to Nepal if the mold thing doesn't become an option.

Will try to UPS it to Uncle Bill on monday.

I just hope they don't "improve" on the model or decide to make it out of wood so it'll be 100% faithful.
 
Don't let Dave pull one over on you guys. After spending some very enjoyable times with Dave I realize he *Could* no doubt look like this, just never considered that he had that much coyote in
his-self, but should've realized after some of Dave's tales.:D

And if indeed this is his brother Daniel I have to say this bunch of young men have a very strong resemblance to one another.

BTW Dave, that's a great looking model!!!!!!! I sure hope you're able to get the katar you've been wanting for so long. I knew you had it in yourself to make the model if you only would or had time.
You done a better job than I would have with getting the screws on center and the like.
I'm quite proud of your work nephew!!!!:D
 
It's quite a nice looking model. I'm sure the kamis will recognize it and go out and try to punch a hole thru the head of the first elephant they can find.

Everyone has said that my brother and I look alike ever since we were kids. :)

Tonight I'm going to take down all the katar's specifications which is the last thing I have to do before I UPS it to Reno tomorrow.

Maybe Uncle Bill can take some better pics before it heads out to Nepal.
