Gentlemen's Knives: Mnandi vs TiSpine vs WH E10

Mnandi or William Henry. I have both but wind up carrying the Mnandi. One hand opening isn't a priority to me. Both companies offer great customer service.

They make non-shiny ones too:

The matte-finished TiSpines I tried weren't any easier to open than the polished ones were. They weren't as dead sexy as the polished ones, either. (Think of it as buying a Ferrari and then deciding if you want the factory to paint it or leave it primered.) But they did have the advantage of not attracting fingerprints.

I think I have been swayed to the William Henry.

My first one that I posted was a wedding present from Mrs. Scurvy and she has been wanting to get me another for our 1st anniversary for some nice symmetry.

The ti spine is quite a bit bigger than the other 2...... I have two mnandis and the carbon fiber version of that WH, and they are both small, lightweight, and (very important) not threatening at all. The ti is a beautiful knife but not as office friendly. Out of those three, the easy choice if you could only have one is the mnandi IMO.

Sounds like a perfectly good reason to get another William Henry to me. :)

I feel bad about never carrying my other WH so I think I'm carry the heck out of this one.

Wife has decided I'm going to get a new William Henry for every milestone anniversary (5,10,15,20 etc).

I won't complain!!

(I hope I didn't post this twice...sorry).....The TiSpine weighs 3.5 oz.; the Mnandi 1.5 oz; WH about 1.5 oz.....that's a huge difference if the category is Gentleman's folder" don't you think?

Good choice. WH makes an excellent knife, probably the sharpest out of the box I've ever handled. I have a Pikatti Sonic due next week.
