I am selling this knife as 'gently used'. Some carelessness led to the beginnings of patina in several small places on the blade while putting on the final edge. It is essentially unused, but as the finish is a bit tarnished I'm discounting it 15%. Note that the light patina marks are mild enough that they don't show up well in the pictures.
This is a slimmed down version of my moutain knife in Aldo's 1084 and black linen micarta.
This high carbon blade WILL patina with use.
Blade: 3.4" @600grit, gently rounded spine over the drop, Flitz waxed
OAL: 7.3"
~0.135" thick
3/16" black linen micarta scales, 1/8" brass pins
This is an elegant, understated EDC based on a burly design. The idea was 'down from the mountains for a night on the town'.
This is a SLIM handle. The height and thickness are well propotioned, but slim overall. This will likely fit you nicely if you have small or very thick hands, or if you want a full-size knife that carries flat. I wear a size large glove, but have thin hands and it is a bit small for me. The blade is long and pokey and a very pleasing way.
Sheath is simple kydex with a tension welt in the top hole, drain molded into the tip. Holes are drilled 0.5" c-t-c for a mini tech-lock clip.
Price: $85 + $10 shipping
Paypal preferred.
