Even without your maker's mark I'd know it as a "Phillip Patton" blade! Beautiful knife!

I have three of Philip's knives with ironwood handles and stainless guards, in different steels. Absolutely no need to buy another, but I still have to struggle to resist when I see one posted.

For me, his work is great value - the cleanness of the form and the quality of the finishing are on a par with makers who are selling for a lot more!
