I'm trying to move away from the more "tactical" looking knives after buying a Spyderco police3 and decided to move along a different route. I'm currently looking at gents folders (those William henrys look awesome!), but I'm a little short on cash at the moment so I have to set the budget at $100. Any ideas? Wood or Ti is fine with me (although I'm not sure if you can have Ti on a gents folder). Remember I'm looking for a classic design (think poor mans William Henry :P)!

I already have a buck 110 by the way...
Thanks in advance
(make sure to add pics folks!)

how about a spyderco kiwi? the akc has them for 106 au, I gave one to my dad he seems to really like it, they fit in the hand quite well also.
good taste on the opinel 10 btw ;)

EDIT: nvm mate didnt see that you wanted 3" blade leangth

A slimmer, drop point buck110 would be perfect although I don't know if I can find such a knife for less than $100.

I'm looking at the buck knight/squire/prince but the blades are too short :(

EDIT: the buck squire is PERFECT...but it's a quarter of an inch too short *cries*

I've owned quite a few gent's knives, but my favorite is the Beretta Trident. Available with Cocobolo, Padauk or G10 scales, a strong liner lock and VG10 blade steel. Handmade by Moki of Seki Japan and < $100.

Here's the one I went with, the Case Wharncliffe Mini Trapper. You can find them for $40 shipped:

Here's one that I plan on getting eventually, a Case Swayback Jack in CV. They can be found for around $60 shipped:
