Here's one for sunday school...
Blade is ATS-34 hollow ground and stone washed
Bolsters are 416 also stone washed and dovetailed
Anodized titanium liners (0.05") with filework down the back
Scales are briar root burl with acrylic finish
Black micarta back spacer
Tiger eye inset in thumb stud
Overall lenght is right at 7" open; 4" closed; blade is 2 15/16" tip to scales

That's one of the nicest EDC linerlocking folders I have seen in quite some time. Very nice :thumbup:
 
Phil, your talent for knifemaking is quite apparent. I'm still 100% pleased with the 2 Traditional style folders of yours that i have and here you have posted an equally fine more modern style folder.
I'm sure this one has the same smooth action, solid lockup and ultra sharp blade edge as my 2 have. The buyer will be thrilled to see how much better the knife is in person and in-hand than can be appreciated in just pictures.
I hope you will make a few more of the Traditional style folders as them's my favorites.

Roland, I have been making a few slipjoints and plan to make more. I enjoy making all types of folders and just got finished with my first flipper the other day. Been holding a few of them back for some local shows coming up, but will be posting some here too if things go according to plan. Thanks for the kind comments!
 
Man, I wish I wasn't broke, that's one gorgeous knife!!!

Gotta get me some knife money ASAP so I can get me one of your folders!!
 
I know this knife will look much better in person than the pictures convey and the in-hand feel will be pleasingly natural.
If this was a knife show and people could pick up and handle it, this knife would have been sold days ago.
I'm basing this on the 3 folders and 1 FB that i have from Phil. All are real keepers and a lot of knife for the price.
