Here is one I made for the Chicago show and sold right away so nobody got to see it, so I thought I would show it here. What do ya'll think?
4'' forged W1 blade, mosaic bolsters, rough mammoth ivory and gold pins.

that is beautiful Don. The hamon is one of the best I've seen...looks like sunrays pouring over a bank of clouds. The extended damascus bolster fits in very well with the handle material.

Man, I was there pretty early on Friday and still missed that one! Absolutely beautiful knife, and I'm sure more stunning in person.

Well, I for one think it's hideous. Oh, my eyes! And what's that weird wavy line on the blade, magic marker? :) Don, tell the truth, you bought that from Master Cutlery and put your name on it, didn't you. Shame. :)

Actually, in all seriousness, I like this particular hamon very much, it has that dripping quality you and I have talked about. Kindly give me the phone number of who bought it, and their address, safe combo, habits, schedule, the usual... :)

hamon + damascus + stag (okay rough ivory, but it looks like stag!) = perfection
