Gents Vest Pocket Bowie

I made this little knife some time ago and posted it here back in 2012. I thought it needed some professional treatment, so I asked Coop to do what he does. And he did it well, as per usual! Thanks Jim, your the best!

This little Bowie is hand forged 1084 with a clay quenched Hamon. Mild Steel file worked guard. Two tone stained premium curly maple scalloped handle with fine silver wire inlay and silver domed pin. The sheath is Basswood lined, tooled and stained veg tanned leather with a stained and polished whitetail deer antler shield. Fun project and one of my favorites. Would like to hear any critiques.

It's new home is with appreciative collector and friend out West.

Cute Bowie....

.....and when I say cute, I mean beautiful in every which way.

Wouldnt change an iota about that one.

Lucky you, Dawkind.

Lucky you, Dawkin.

It is a fantastic build as is the sheath and Steve does a superb job as evident by his garnering the Moran Award at The Blade Show last year.
