Hello, is this strider genuine? " link removed - details below" ..

Looks like fake (steel insert on framelock)? Never seen this. But 27 bidders? Weird ...

there was already a thread about this fake already. yes its fake

This one is even more rare. It's signed and only $99.00.

I have noticed that some of these listings are being removed, but I feel bad for the person who paid $760 for one of these.

It also says the handles are milled steel, not Ti. Definitely stay away!!

Ugh! That is probably an advert on a Chinese rip off site. Locking blades are illegal there, so they touch the pics up to make it look like there is no lock bar.
Pretty sure there is a review of that 'beauty' on YT from one of those dudes that reviews clones and fakes.
Ugh
Joe

Those knives have lockbars. The issue is most of those sellers use Chinese trading sites. Since most locking knives are illegal in china they edit the pictures to exclude any detail that might get their sale page removed. Why they didn't change them back to the original photos for ebay is anyones guess. But make no mistake they will have lockbars. This also happens with blood grooves/fullers and autos.

I don't know enough to say but general rule of thumb: if you have any doubt of the authenticity of the knife, don't buy it. Doesn't come with papers? Don't buy it.
