When was the last time an original issue Vietnam era (60-70's) MAC-V-SOG Bowie's was seen or offered for sale?
Has anyone seen/have one and what is a ballpark value?
Love to know some more about these mythical creatures...

There were 1300 originals. I don't know enough to say if more were made by the end. An originals will be big $$ when it shows up.

Sog makes a true copy:

SOG Bowie (Recon)
(Item# SBR80) that you can find for ~175 +/-

If you want a knife like that to use, the Trident is similar but with a newer bade shape and made of stainless rather than carbon(like the SBR80 above) steel.

Good hunting
