Let's suffice it to say that I haven't exactly been warmed by the response to my experience here. I would appreciate any information that affords me the avenue that terminates my participation. There are more than enough things in my life that expose me to ridicule. I reserve the right to extricate myself from any other examples of same. Most particularly as it relates to a collecting hobby that heretofore has provided me with pleasure in my remaking years on the planet. Would an admin please give me my out.

BF has a TON of good info, and really is one of the better sites to learn about sharp metal.
Chinese manufacturing/cloning has earned the rep they have honestly, and I personally don't trust anything made there to be represented accurately, unless I'm intimately familiar with the manufacturer.
Are there good knife companies in China? Yep. There sure are.
Good manufacturing? Yep.
There is also alot of junk, rampant fraud, intellectual theft, and straight up scammers.
I've done business with Chinese companies for years outside the knife industry, and it's a tough game if you dont know what you are doing and who you are dealing with.
It's less about politics and more about business.
If it looks too good to be true..it usually is.
