Geocaching

My kids & I go Geocaching a lot. I have been to places in my own city I never knew about before.

I've heard of this and it sounds pretty neat. I may get myself a simple GPS and give it a try this summer.

I tried to go this afternoon, but I dont have a GPS unit, I knew the area but couldnt figure out where it was. I think it was probably because of the two feet of snow.

Saturnine, it just make it more fun to find. But having a GPS sure make it easier. Another thing that you might get a smile from. When you go on your normal trail hike and then you find out there are a few caches out there that you walked by for the last few years and never knew. Once looking for a cache next to a creak i ended up falling into poisen oak. I still remember that one. People at work walked around me as if i were a leaper.

I went caching with my two boys today, after finding them and heading back to the trail head I saw a big stump that looked like fatwood so I gave it a quick kick and found a cache that I did not know was there.

Went for 3 caches and found 4 good day.

man, dont know how I haven't seen this yet, Yeah geo chaching is great. I've done it while this summer. I intend on doing some more when I get back to nova scotia.
Unfortunatly, just remember no knives in the chaches :(
