First - the rules to play by (I have failed to do this in the past - sorry my bad). Prices are net to me and including shipping in the US. International - ask and we can discuss shipping options. First firm "I'll take it", gets the knife. If you happen to be interested but are in the process of negotiating price or other details, and someone else comes along with a firm "I'll take it" - I may end up selling to whom I desire; which is most likely to the first committed person at full, or close to full price. Two of the folders listed I am still on the fence about selling (the Jared Price and the Fitz Angel Wing). These are all either new or used to open envelopes or a few boxes, carried, but all gently treated!

1. Les George ESR flipper with XHP core with Starfire Damascus blade, Mokuti clip by George/Chad Nichols (I have the original envelope), stonewashed scales. Damascus black areas are a bit gray in some areas. Lockup solid and early. Blade dead center. Flips nicely (but my disabled hands have some trouble and for me I need to use some wrist action). Stamped on frame interior George XHP. Factory edge still very sharp. Carried, light use.
2.625 inch blade; 6.625 OAL; 4.0 inches closed.
SOLD..... to JH.

2. JRP or Jared Price Gannet folder with tumbled carbon fiber inlay (really cool textured carbon fiber!). Stonewashed front and back, hand rubbed satin finish Wharncliff style blade is perfect. Solid lockup, release is fine but firm - and one small ding to the thumb notch opposite the lockbar on inner surface. A rub or two to the pocket clip only, otherwise completely pristine w original edge. Here is the description from GP knives: Jared Price Custom Gannet model featuring a Wharncliff blade of CPM 154 with a rubbed satin finish. The small compact design is lightweight and easy to carry everyday. The flowing frame design dips down to reveal access to the oval thumb opener and also forms a guard. This smart looking folder has a tumbled frame with a large center section inlay of carbon fiber for a little added punch. Built with open frame construction, the two bead blasted standoffs combine with the blade stop to separate the halves. Machined titanium hardware complete the assembly and brighten up the knife. Includes a titanium pocket clip that has been set for tip up carry.
This particular model was made for and owned by knifemaker Jody Muller but is in excellent condition with a centered blade and Jared's normal great fit and finish. 3.0 inch blade, 7.0 OAL open.
Includes JRP business card and nice zip case.
SOLD .... to Scott

3. Fitz Angel Wing flipper (on washers but fires smoothly and fast!!). Smooth matte woven carbon presentation side. Acid washed blade. Orange peel titanium lockside and clip. A few slight rubs to the lockside and clip. A scuff to the blade flats near the top edge - minor and due to the acid wash, hard to see. Early lockup, smooth release and dead center blade. Original edge. 2.75 inch blade; 6.75 OAL open.
SOLD .... to Scott

4. BNIB arrived at my house now a few hours ago, The Chaves Stout Megalodon 325 is a licensed design from J.B. Stout that has been carefully produced by Chaves American Made Knives. It features a tumble finished tanto blade with fullers, thumbhole and notched thumbrest. The handle has a tumble finished titanium frame with matching tip up clip. New from Chaves American Made Knives. Just released. Out there for $475 to $495 from dealers. Just in from AZCK (I had store credit to spend there!) opened once for photos. I knew this would be too big for me, so planned on selling once it arrived. Absolutely 100% new in every way. 3.125 inch blade; 7.5 inches OAL.
SOLD .... to JW

Trades.... Must be between 6.5 and 7.25 inches in OAL open.
GTC 3 fingers 3F, Dervish Alchemy, Marfione Mini-Matrix, Laconico mini bear, other JRP Avocet or Finch, Mayo folders in the above dimensions.

PayPal is fine. Prices are net to me, but include shipping.
Again, may consider withdrawing JRP or Fitz Angel Wing.
Best,
Dr. Ernie

As for trades, other custom folders are possible. Yet in the OAL mentioned. TuffKnives, Burchtree....
Always tempted by watches. Military or Pilot manual wind or automatics - vintage (restored) or new/like new. 40 to 44 mm case diameter.

With smaller (and numb) hands I have found anything over 7.25 inches is just too big for me, and less than 6.5 can be hard to hold on to!
This is why I have added lanyards to the above pieces, to secure my grip.
So beyond size, prefer a clip that gives tip-up carry and a lanyard hole or ability to place one on a standoff....

Hope that makes sense.
Best, Ernie

Price adjustments today!
As for trades, I am fairly narrowed to the possibilities listed. Though have a current itch to try a restored military or pilot mechanical watch in the 40-44mm diameter size - Omega or other.....
Willing to add funds myself, or have you add them. Also willing to trade a few of mine for one of yours depending on value (such as for a Dervish or Mayo).

Thanks! Ernie

hello - interested in the les george AND the fitz flippers. have 2 flippers - both dead MINT! john gray persian "thuck" w/rainbow ti handles - and michael vagnino flipper with gray handles - armadillo skin inserts in both handles. john gray was $1,000, listed new on eb now for $900. vagnino was $500...TRADES??? jzs c/o jzs52@comcast.net

All replied to. Everything still available as of this moment in time.
Sorry to be so specific/particular on knife sizes - due to my spinal cord injury at C5 (neck) and numb somewhat weak hands - simply have found handling anything over 7.25 inches to be to much for me.

It is yours! Honestly would not mind keeping it, but still have way too many knives.
Thanks!
Ernie

Thanks Scott!
It is yours.
Will be in touch shortly - our 3 kids coming over for dinner, and looks like I am cooking.....

Chaves still available! Several have been close to commit, but none yet.
Those that are out there via dealers seem to be selling out fast!
Act now to avoid disappointment!!
Just too big for me, and I already have enough folders - so a sale strongly preferred.
