I knew Mr. George and he was a fine gentleman.He was one of the first custom makers that Imet and gave me the desire to make knives. Thanks Robert
 
When I first clicked on the post, I thought you made the knife! That's some seriously clean work dude! :eek:

But after scrolling down, I realized it's one of George's. Very clean work. Thanks for sharing. :) :thumbup:

George Herron was my friend.
The first thing he ever said to me was, "Where you goin with that stupid lookin haircut lad"
I miss him.
He had a knife collection in his living room in a glass top coffee table.
Many famous knife makers where represented in that showcase friends, students, and kids with stupid haircuts.
Even Bob Loveless.
