5. Les George "Project VECP" Generation 1 Mid Tech Frame lock Folder
Specifications
Blade Steel : Carpenter CTS-XHP

This VECP has some aftermarket upgrades. Those upgrades include the Bronze Worked Finished Handles, the Acid-Washed Blade Grinds as well as the Hand Rubbed Blade Flats and the Polished Pivot. In terms of the finish on the handle it was anodized bronze, then tumbled in ceramic media, then anodized again, and tumbled again. This one came from the factory originally with a rougher bead blasted finish.
This knife features a very smooth action with an early lockup. It is slightly off center in closed position, as demonstrated in the pics.
Condition Note: Approximately 95%. The only signs of wear that I can see are noticeable on the pocket clip. The edge appears to be unused to cut anything and hasn't been sharpened, that I can tell. This knife is razor sharp.

This beautiful example of a 1980's Japanese Import Balisong features Brass Channel Skeletonized Handles.
Condition Note : Approximately 98% as received from the factory, which is incredible considering the age of the knife. It locks up as if it were new from the factory. There are a couple light hairline scratches on both sides of the blade. They are so small I was unable to photograph them. There is also a slight discoloration at the tip of the knife on the presentation side of the blade as seen in the pics. This knife comes with a box.

This is a discontinued Protech Defiance. It is a dual action automatic that can either be opened manually or automatically with the press of a 'concealed' or 'hidden' button. The upper part of the front insert conceals a secret button to activate the knife automatically. The Defiance features a stainless liner lock for solid lockup The handle is 6061 T-6 'aircraft grade' aluminum.
Condition Note : This knife is in around 98% condition having only a few faint scuff marks on the belt clip and the handle / bolsters (as seen in the pics). The edge is original and unsharpened. This knife comes with the original box and plastic sleeve. This knife retailed for $500.00 when readily available and has been discontinued for quite some time, now.

38. Protech Flyfather JD Edition #21

The handle on this knife is comprised of 6AL4V titanium slabs with beveled edges and grooves along the sides. The titanium frame has zen pins and barrel spacer construction while the pivot features 56 ball bearings (14 per pivot side) and set-screw pivots that allow the user to adjust the tension on the blade for smooth and precise action. This is the IKBS Pivot System. This knife features a very unique latch system; it is an arc shape, which allows the blade to extend closer to the bottom edge of the handle when closed. It's a nice touch that makes it possible to have a longer blade than is otherwise possible. The latch also features an integral latch stop which keeps the latch from hitting the blade, a very unique feature! Includes matching anodized pocket clip. This balisong is the only model balisong that Protech has made to date and features the classic blade design of the Protech Godfather. 100% American Made.
This is the Limited Edition JD Forum Flyfather. It comes with the original box and paperwork.
Condition Note : The Blade is 100% New , the Handles are in approximately 98%. I believe the knife to be unused to cut anything at all, it appears to be the original / unsharpened edge.
