When: Saturday, February 11th.
Where: Statesboro, GA; Statesboro is an hour drive West of Savannah on I-16 and is convenient to SE GA and southern SC.
The Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild 2011/2012 Winter meeting will be held at the shop of TwinBlades in Statesboro, GA on Saturday Feb 11th. For the early arrivals, social gathering on Friday night!
Demo line up for the meeting:
Handle material stabilization Craig Schneeberger
John Costa making friction folders
Randy Scott fabricating a two brick forge
Dennis Bradley filework
Standard agenda for the day; the Board will meet at 8 am or soon as we all arrive, followed by the general meeting of the Guild, typically about 9:15 or so. The demos follow, iron in the hat, lunch, scholarship knife drawing and any remaining demos.

That link will contain info on the shop address, directions and any updates to the meeting as needed.
The Guild is an educational guild. Our meetings are open to the public and there is no charge for attending. We have a large talent pool among the members and the meetings are an excellent opportunity for those interested in our craft and those who want to meet some fellow makers.
If you will be attending, please post to this thread the number attending. The meeting host needs the head count to ensure sufficient food is prepared. NOTE: there are no fast food nor restaurants convenient to the meeting location. The Iron in the Hat ticket sales are used to defray the hosts expenses.
