Gerber Back Paxe

I have the Back Paxe and two 14 inch handled Fiskars and a full sized Fiskars.
The short handle on the Back Paxe really limits its usefullness.
By going with the 14inch handled Fiskars you get the exact same axe head (same dimensions and weight) with a more comfortable "just long enough" handle.
My Back Paxe had been relegated to my tool box since the 14 inch Fiskars came along. As a tool box axe the Back Paxe has found it niche.
The Fiskars 14incher is the best compromise between too small and too big.
IMO its the perfect size for a back pack axe.

The Backpax would really tire me out. It's too short for a chopper for my taste.
