Interesting discussion about the cant being there to aid in hitting the kidney. I had always read that it was to keep it tighter to the body when sheathed.
Have never seen or heard of a canted Command II, but am far from an expert. Wonder if someone was just trying to mimic the Mark II cant?

Ive heard different stories about the purpose of the canted blade. But never heard that Gerber had it on any other model than the old and Anniversary models of Mark2. My knife dont look like its been tampered or modified. It looks like it never been used.

The canted blade was pretty much
one guy's bright idea which didn't quite gel
with most end users ...
And i doubt was something anybody
but mark ii collectors would now want.
