My Firestorm folder from Gerber really surprised me. The workmanship is FLAWLESS! Smooth opening, solid lock-up and shaving sharp. It is a Bull of a folder, over 5 oz. For $30.---you can't go wrong.
 
just bought on the other day....love it. I took it apart and stonewashed the blade & clip and its even better:-):thumbup:
 
Where did you get it for $30? I checked and BladeHQ and KnifeCenter didn't carry them and Amazon wants $48. It looks pretty decent, but I am a bit leery of Gerber products. Still, I doubt Mr. Hinderer would let a company make crap with his name on it.
 
I got mine from SMKW.
This was a few years ago.
My new Remix is very well made too.

BTW - Ozark - you can find themmon ebay for a very reasonable price. I actually got mine for $20 with free shipping...there are a few more fro $25 still available last I looked.
