You're right, it was kind of a stupid question. What I meant to say was something like... does anyone have any thoughts or experience on this particular model, considering that it is 1)a Gerber 2) a fixed, full-tang blade & 3) a skeleton frame?

Oh, and 'best knife ever' is a myth. If one existed, everyone here would have it, singing it's praises for all time.
I'll tell you one good thing about it: it's one sturdy mofo. It won't cut anything for you but you can ram it as hard as you want into anything without it failing.The paraframe specifically seems to be a design constructed primarily of weapons-grade FAIL. I hear nothing but bad things about it, even from people who otherwise defend Gerber.
n8ivefl, they are referring to this knife, called the "paraframe". It's not a type of handle. I haven't heard of any feedback on this knife so I don't know what its like
