Gerber LMF II ASEK vs KA-BAR

I'm a soldier who loves his Gerber LMF, but also think you go with a knife made for camping, not for punching through plexi-glass.

I have both. I find the LMF blade too thick to be practical for slicing, cleaning game/fish, etc. The composite handle on the LMF is probably more durable than the leather stacked one on the ka-bar though.
