I personally love and use Gerber tools and knives; especially the older knives they made long ago, before Fiscars. Over the years, I have owned something from almost all their entire product lines. I was very disappointed with the Gerber Nautilus Tool with Dual LED Lights. It definitely looks cool, and having a light on a tool is nice idea, but here are my issues:

1. The lights are awful. The light end either comes on by itself and/or even pops out in your pocket. Mine as done this so many times it has already killed my batteries with only a few minutes of actual use.
2. The scissors are very poor compared to an even smaller product such as a leatherman Micra.
3. Because of the cool looking curve of the tool, using any of the screw drivers is awkward and requires excessive repositioning of the tool.

I would NOT recommend this tool; save your money for a better tool by Gerber, Swiss Army, or Leatherman. Target seems to have the best price on the Gerber NT (even free shipping), so if you decide to get one anyways, consider those guys. Happy outdoors this summer with your family.

For those who are interested, I have an update on this tool. I own so many tools like this I rotate them, always trying to give each "another chance" to impress me with some feature or function that I may not have fully expoited. Here is my updated, additional comments/thoughts on this tool.

Pro:
The shortness of the blade actually makes it nice because it is acceptable even at the most draconian places (where I work, for example) on blade length paranoia. A nice feature absent in most multitools (at least all the ones I own) is a true "one-hand" opening. The blade on this knife can actually be opened with your thumb on one hand. The lock is reasonable and you will have a Karambit style knife if you rotate forward it in your hands. Nice for emergency self-defense if you like this style of knife.

Con:

All the previous comments stated where it sucks are still true; with an update. Since the lights just "come on" so often by themselves with the slightest bumping of the knife I have gone through countless batteries without the actual benefit of using them for lighting anything. As a result, the screw off cover to the batteries (which is just plastic threading) has worn down to where part of it has cracked off and it now can no longer close and hold the batteries in place. Pretty crummy performance for a Knife I use so carefully and infrequently (due to the battery situation).

Recommendation:

Still - recommend do not buy this tool; get something else. This tool continues to be a frustration and disappointment. I have tried to contact Fiskars/Gerber with no success. Their customer service appears awful.

Sorry to hear this... I rather like this "blue schrimp" ))
Owned it coupla weeks, then gave to the friend.
Here's some pictures I took: http://community.livejournal.com/ru_knife/247028.html
What can I add... It has very good rubber-coated handle, useful blade and overall fancy look. Steel is a bit on a soft side, nevertheless, OK for IKEA furniture screws(made a chair using Nautilus). Scissors are awful, but at least they are. Flashlight behavior is a bit unstable, but I can't say it switch on ALL the time. The main issue is carry option. You can leave it loose inthe pocket, where it take horz position (which is not comfy) or use included "ballistic sheath" (could you please tell me what is ballistic in this context? I beleived it's mostly about cannons, parabolic trajectories and like). The sheath are good, could be attached in two positions, but heck, the knife isnt that heavy... a pocket clip will be enough (but it would have ruined the design). I have no use for multitools, bought it out of curiosity, so for me it wasn't disappintment. It has cool look to it and makes a cool gift. Of course if you're heavy on multitools, you'd better get a Leatherman, Vix or Sog.
(sorry for verbosity and bad english)
