Gerber Still Doesn't Get It

I was emailed and asked to respond to this question to ensure the facts were known, as I wouldn't normally have been reading this thread. The fact is that Gerber has never supported Knife Rights with the exception, as I recall, of a few knife donations about 6-7 years ago. I have had what I believe to have been constructive discussions with the new CEO, but to date nothing has changed. We would certainly welcome their support. This came up at BLADE because they were asked on at least two occasions that I was advised of if this fundraiser supported Knife Rights and the person at the Gerber booth said it did. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I suspect that the salespersons manning the booth, like so many, get confused between Knife Rights and AKTI and that there was likely no intent to deceive.
 
I thought the same thing, Mr. Ritter it wasn't malicious so much as the folks manning the booth knew less than the average attendee unless it was their product number and it's release date. It was a pleasure to meet you, thanks for your time and advice.
