SOG has made a great turnaround in recent years, with their XR lock knives and their high value fixed blades. They're using far better materials and blade steels than Gerber has been using recently, and the XR lock is a great lock. Unfortunately their customer service hasn't been the bes, and will probably suffer even more now that they're owned by GSM.
