I have been reading through the forums recently and it seems that people tend to mostly post of their negative experiences with customer service at companies. I know some like Gerber and some don't and that is not the reason of this posting I just wanted to share my positive experience.
A week or so ago I bought a Gerber Paraframe that had a back spacer and screw missing. I decided to call Gerber. I called and did not get an answer and left my name and number. Within 30 minutes I had a call back. I explained to them that I am not the original owner but that I would like to request a replacement spacer and screw. I told them it was their choice if they decided to send it to me and I understood if they refused to do so. To my amazement they asked for my address and said it would be no problem in sending out the spacer and screw. To my further amazement it arrived in the mail within 3 days and they included three replacement spacers and screws for all of the ones located on the knife.
Overall, I had a very positive experience with them and I felt that they valued me as a customer even though the knife I was calling about was inexpensive and bought used.
