An assisted auto with ballbearings and some sort of locking system. And scratch resistant clip.

I've a lot of issues with this video. I know it's clearly not for us here and probably not any different than any other company's sales pitch, but it's still full of garbage. Paraphrases below.

One thing that's hard to do well is a lightweight EDC pocket knife. (So true she says. Lol)

Really? Gerber seems to be the only one having trouble with this.

We've got a scratch resistant clip.

Now hurry up an pan out so they can't see it!

Unique to Gerber: a plunge lock.

If they're talking about the button lock they're just blatantly lying. If it's that stupid safety it's unique to them because it's unnecessary. "Unique to Chevrolet: Pigeon cages on the roof of the car!"

Most thumb studs are pokey and hurt your thumbs.

Only when they're poorly designed. "We couldn't figure out studs so we built a ramp!"

It's got balls of steel to eliminate friction! So you won't feel it grinding.

We looked at a great action on other manual open knives and applied the technology to our assisted knife where it doesn't matter! Can you say click-bait!?

I've said it before; Gerber still doesn't get it.

To be fair, I haven't looked up the specs that do matter on that particular knife. Aside from the silly safety thing, it doesn't look bad at all. The video and sales pitch is just silly.
