Agreed. But by "overseas" I was talking about China. Their absence of quality control, shoddy workmanship, and inferior materials produce cheap products that are in the long run dangerous to the user ie: blades that snap, locks that fail etc. It's a shame that several once great American knife companies have put their names on these cheap pieces of garbage in the name of cost cutting.Many knives made "over seas" are Good Quality.
