German knife company Böker knocks off Becker handles...

magnum and böker plus are all of Chinese/asian origin. So böker did not copy anything but they might have chosen a Chinese design which is a copy of something else.

Are you drunk? It's an exact copy of a BK&T handle. I really want to see a picture of the knife without the scales to see how closely it resembles the handle underneath.
 
Ka-bar has already been in contact with Boker. Boker isn't selling that in the US. They have been told to stop... Buuuuuuuuut there is only so much that can be done if it isn't here.

In that case, I will never buy a Boker. Too bad my dad bought one of his friends the hobo knife from them for Christmas..
 
I was considering a Böker knife, but instead I'll spend the money on a nice sheath and mods for my BK-16. That money will be better spent.

sorry, I think you misunderstood. The knife is a copy, but it has not been copied by böker. They probably choose their asian knife lines from some Chinese OEM catalogue and this Chinese OEM copied the Becker.

the result is the same, they are selling a copy

no. the magnum and böker plus knives are not produced by böker. they buy those chinse knives like lots of others do from big Chinese manufacturerers and just have them engraved with the logo (magnum or böker plus)

though some böker plus knives are böker designs and/or collabs

I plan to sell pink replacement scales to the Germans.
 
There's also some SOG and Mora look alikes there too.

A good example of them buying "chinese designs" is the rebranded Enlan EL-01 they sell. They even have a wannabe 0777. One wonders if Boker doesn't see the similarities or just doesn't care.
