german mountain rucksack

I've noticed that they started carrying some of the surplus type of gear. Geez, now that the rucks hit the big time, the price will start goin up. :( Good side of that is, I already got mine. :D
 
if you're going to carry something heavy for an extended time, don't be afraid of getting something better... cheap rucksacks are like cheap boots...
 
actually this ruck is really well made, I own a dana designs and a kelty pack, this one is suprizingly really nice, at least the one I own is...these could most likely be made by someone else.
 
Rucks probably aren't made to carry real heavy loads anyway. No frame and no nice padded belt. However, for loads up to 35-40# or so, these packs do an admiral job and they are very well made and super tough. Right now, my pack weighs a tad over 25# and is very comfortable to carry.
